This website is solely for purpose of providing a medium for our members to share their food experiences as objectively as possible. We feel that the internet has been too saturated with very opinionated and bias reviews. Most websites grade restaurants on a simple scale of 1-5 or a composite of multiple ratings on various attributes such as price, service, atmosphere, etc., all which are inevitably variable to a business operation; therefore, those previously mentioned items are not reliable for us foodies. For the niche market that we are, we are willing to wait hours, empty wallets, beg, subjugate ourselves to poor service for our perfect meal. Even a review of a restaurant done by many individuals may be subject to bias because we all have different preferences and tolerance to certain tastes and smell. Our solution to the problem is to stay humble and let our audience decided on their satisfaction of the restaurant. The website will focus its attention on the actual dish itself unlike many other websites where they go too broad in their reviews. In addition, our single dish reviews are done by a knowledgeable group of members who have traveled the world and understand the authenticity of various cuisines. It is the destination for the camaraderie of foodies, connoisseurs, and epicures. Welcome to The High Tea.
